Our inspiration.
For over 30 years, Ron McGlynn has bettered the education of people with an intellectual disability. In recognition of his contribution, Ron was awarded the Pride of Australia Inspiration Medal.
As a genU Training Course Coordinator, Ron was integral to the development of two courses: Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy, & Certificate I in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy. Both these courses are just for students with a disability, focusing on the development of foundation skills.
With Skills First funding, these courses are made available free of charge to all students.
